DACCHE – Digital Action on Climate Change with Heritage Environments
XR research project combining climate, cultural heritage and digital storytelling.
I worked on Dacché as Assistant Director for the experimental XR segment and as a technical/research assistant during public events in Bodø and Östersund, including Interreg’s 25th anniversary. My tasks included setting up and maintaining technical equipment (including Varjo XR-3 headsets), rigging the green-screen studio, operating the installation and guiding visitors through the experience. Dacché is an award-winning XR installation funded by Interreg and the European Union, exploring climate and cultural heritage in collaboration with Gaaltije Saemien Museum and Stiklestad National Cultural Center.

This video shows the XR workflow, starting with the Varjo headset view, then a visitor interacting with the scene, and finally the green-screen space used during capture. It reflects some of the practical work and exhibition operation I was involved in during the project.
